Peacock today released the official trailer for the upcoming comedy special, Chris Fleming: HELL, premiering August 18th on the streaming platform. From alternative comedy mainstay Chris Fleming (The Diaper, Gayle), the 60-minute special will feature Chris exploring performance anxiety through surreal comedy, sketches, and more.
Official Synopsis
Chris Fleming lights up Dynasty Typewriter as he explores the unique hell of performance anxiety through musical comedy, anecdotes about Phil Collins, and everything in between. His surreal take on the plight of being a live performer is accompanied by absurdist sketches depicting the artist’s journey through Hollywood and the mystical nature of live theater.
The special is directed by Cat Solen (The Shivering Truth, Take My Wife), and produced by Jax Media (Broad City, Younger). Chris Fleming, Cat Solen, Jen Statsky (Hacks, The Good Place), Brooke Posch (Broad City, Difficult People), John Skidmore (Russian Doll, South Side), Jake Fuller (Emily in Paris, The Other Two), Molly Mandel (Perfectly Stupid, Kumail Nanjiani: Beta Male), and Olivia Doud (Quincy Jones: Burning the Light, Billy on the Street) serve as executive producers.
