Netflix today has debuted the official trailer for their upcoming action drama film The Mother which is set to drop on Friday, May 12, 2023 (just in time for Mother’s Day). Directed by Niki Caro (Mulan, The Zookeeper’s Wife), The Mother stars Jennifer Lopez (Shotgun Wedding, Hustlers), Joseph Fiennes (The Handmaid’s Tale, Shakespeare in Love), Lucy Paez (The Exorcism of Carmen Farias, Silencio), Omari Hardwick (Power, Army of the Dead), Paul Raci (Perry Mason, Sound of Metal), and Gael García Bernaln (Old, Mozart in the Jungle).
Logline: A deadly female assassin comes out of hiding to protect the daughter that she gave up years before, while on the run from dangerous men.
