Prime Video today released the official trailer for part 2 of Invincible season 2 which premieres March 14th. The second half of the critically acclaimed adult animated superhero series will contain 8 episodes with new episodes dropping weekly. The first half of season two was the recipient of Rotten Tomatoes’ Golden Tomato Award for Best Animated Series and continues to be “Certified Fresh” with a 100% score.
It was previously announced that Invincible was renewed for a third season.
The voice cast includes Steven Yeun (Beef, The Walking Dead), Sandra Oh (Killing Eve, Grey’s Anatomy), Zazie Beetz (Full Circle, Atlanta), Grey DeLisle (Pantheon, The Loud House), Chris Diamantopoulos (Mrs. Davis, American Dad!), Walton Goggins (The Righteous Gemstones, Justified), Gillian Jacobs (Transatlantic, Love), Jason Mantzoukas (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Big Mouth), Ross Marquand (The Walking Dead, What If…?), Khary Payton (Teen Titans Go!, The Walking Dead), Zachary Quinto (Star Trek, American Horror Story), Andrew Rannells (Big Mouth, The Prom), Kevin Michael Richardson (Family Guy, The Simpsons), Seth Rogen (The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Platonic), and J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Whiplash).
Based on the comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, the story revolves around 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age—except his father is (or was) the most powerful superhero on the planet. Still reeling from Nolan’s betrayal in Season One, Mark struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear – that he might become his father without even knowing it.
