Netflix today revealed the official trailer for the upcoming mystery thriller series, Untamed, written by Mark L. Smith (The Revenant, American Primeval). The limited series will premiere on July 17 on Netflix.
Untamed is set in Yosemite National Park and stars Eric Bana (The Other Boleyn Girl, Troy), Sam Neill (Apples Never Fall, Jurassic Park), Lily Santiago (La Brea), Rosemary DeWitt (Smile 2, The Boys), Wilson Bethel (All Rise, Hart of Dixie), and William Smillie (Dark Matter, Chicago Fire). Bana stars as a special agent Turner for the National Parks Service whose murder investigation sends him on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.
The logline reads, “A character-driven mystery-thriller that follows Kyle Turner (played by Bana), a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.”
