Brainstorm Media today revealed the official trailer for the upcoming film Marmalade, the directorial debut from Keir O’Donnell, best known for his roles in Wedding Crashers, Ambulance, and American Sniper.
Written by Keir O’Donnell, it stars Joe Keery (Fargo, Stranger Things), Camila Morrone (Daisy Jones & The Six, Never Goin’ Back), and Aldis Hodge (One Night in Miami, The Invisible Man). The film will be released both in theaters and On Demand February 9th, 2024.
Synopsis
An edge-of-the-seat crime-tinged romance tale. Recently incarcerated Baron (Keery) strikes up a friendship with cellmate Otis (Hodge), a man with a well-versed history of prison breaks. As the pair hatch an escape plan together, Baron recalls the story of how he met Marmalade (Morrone), the love of his life, and their “Bonnie and Clyde” style scheme to rob a bank in order to care for his sick mother and give the couple the life they’ve always dreamed of.
Sarah Gabriel (Dangerous Waters, Bull), Marc Goldberg (The Estate, Sympathy for the Devil), James Harris (V/H/S/85, Fall), and Mark Lane (Love at First Sight, 47 Meters Down) serve as producers.
