
Paramount Pictures today released the first trailer for the upcoming crime drama, Roofman, from director Derek Cianfrance (The Place Beyond the Pines, Blue Valentine), who wrote the screenplay with Kirt Gunn (Sound of Metal).
Starring Channing Tatum (Blink Twice, Fly Me to the Moon) and Kirsten Dunst (Civil War, The Power of the Dog), Roofman will arrive in theaters on October 10, 2025.
The synopsis reads, “Based on an unbelievable true story, Roofman follows Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum), a former Army Ranger and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald’s restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname: Roofman. After escaping prison, he secretly lives inside a Toys “R” Us for six months, surviving undetected while planning his next move. But when he falls for Leigh (Kirsten Dunst), a divorced mom drawn to his undeniable charm, his double life begins to unravel, setting off a compelling and suspenseful game of cat and mouse as his past closes in.”
The cast also includes Ben Mendelsohn (Andor, Bloodline), LaKeith Stanfield (Judas and the Black Messiah, Atlanta), Juno Temple (Fargo, Ted Lasso), Melonie Diaz (Charmed, Be Kind Rewind), Uzo Aduba (The Residence, Orange Is The New Black), Lily Collias (Good One, Palm Trees and Power Lines), Jimmy O. Yang (Interior Chinatown, Patriots Day), and Peter Dinklage (Cyrano, Game of Thrones).
