We were joined on the Popternative show by The Way Home stars Andie MacDowell, Sadie Laflamme-Snow, Chyler Leigh, and Evan Williams to discuss season 2 of the Hallmark Channel’s multigenerational family drama. Season 2 premiered Sunday, January 21st and picks up from where the shocking season one finale left off.
In the first season, the multigenerational family drama introduced viewers to Kat Landry (Leigh), her daughter Alice (Laflamme-Snow), and Kat’s mother Del (MacDowell). After being estranged for nearly two decades following the unsolved disappearance of Kat’s eight-year-old brother and death of the family patriarch that resulted in Kat moving away from her Canadian farm town of Port Haven, Kat and Alice move in with Del.
Alice soon discovers the ability to travel between to the past through a pond and soon, Kat and Alice become determined to find the truth about the past tragedies and attempt to change the course of events. Elliot (Williams), Kat’s childhood friend, helps guide both of them in their journey, as well as in the past for Alice as his teen self.
Season 2 will see Kat continue in her goal to find her missing brother Jacob and bring him home while her and Alice uncover unexpected revelations about their origins.
