The new year brings a stream of new films coming to theaters. Many have been in the works for some time and others have been pushed into 2024 with an updated release date because of the writer’s and actor’s strike of 2023.

In the Sci-Fi genre, Mickey 17 by Academy Award winning Parasite director Bong Joon Ho is coming to theaters starring Robert Pattinson (Twilight, The Batman) and while the plot has been kept under wraps, the curiosity for the film remains high. An origin story from the Mad Max universe comes with George Miller’s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga starring Anya Taylor-Joy (The Menu, The Queen’s Gambit).

For comic lovers, the third installment of Deadpool comes with the exciting addition of Hugh Jackman’s (Les Misérables, Logan) Wolverine joining the cast. Dakota Johnson (Fifty Shades of Grey, How to Be Single) and Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria, The White Lotus) also step into the MCU in Madame Web.

Let’s not forget horror lovers. A new chapter of A Quiet Place comes to theaters along with the Saw saga continuing. For those in the mood for animation, new emotions come to the screen in Inside Out 2, and Jack Black (School of Rock, The Super Mario Bros. Movie) returns as Po in Kung Fu Panda 4.
