We were joined on the Popternative show by Ryan Simpkins (Fear Street: Part Two – 1978) and Adam Goldberg (The Equalizer) to discuss their new horror film, The Exorcism, now playing in theaters.
Starring Academy Award-winner Russell Crowe (A Beautiful Mind), The Exorcism follows Anthony Miller (Crowe), a troubled actor who begins to unravel while shooting a supernatural horror film. The film’s director (Goldberg) has given Anthony a chance to re-set his career, but Anthony’s estranged daughter, Lee (Simpkins), wonders if he’s slipping back into his past addictions or if there’s something more sinister at play.
The Exorcism is a film essentially about making a film and takes viewers behind the scenes on set throughout.

Sam Worthington (Avatar), Chloe Bailey (Praise This), and David Hyde Pierce (Frasier) also star. The Exorcism is directed by Joshua John Miller and written by Miller and M.A. Fortin, the creators of the hit series Queen of The South, and the writers and producers of The Final Girls.
In our interviews, both Ryan and Adam discuss being in a movie that is about making a movie, as well as getting to work alongside Russell Crowe and some of their on set experiences.
