Tubi has released the official trailer for the upcoming summer-themed comedy Summer’s Last Resort, releasing on July 3. Starring Sophia Bush (Chicago P.D., One Tree Hill), Jerry O’Connell (Star Trek: Lower Decks, Stand By Me), and Violet McGraw (M3GAN, The Haunting of Hill House), the film is written by Emily Andras (Lost Girl, Wynonna Earp) and directed by Melanie Scrofano (Clickbait: Unfollowed, Wynonna Earp).
The cast also includes Tim Rozon (Wynonna Earp, Schitt’s Creek) and Clara Alexandrova (Bet, A Million Little Things).
The synopsis reads, “A high-strung teen’s vacation takes a turn when she’s trapped with her free-spirited mom’s try-hard boyfriend, who also happens to be her vice principal. Determined to end the romance, she hatches a secret breakup plan that spirals into a week of sunburns, sabotage and unexpected feelings.”
