St. Denis Medical Season 3 First Look Teases Romance & Chaos at St. Denis Hospital
NBC today dropped first look photos from the upcoming third season of the mockumentary series St. Denis Medical, set to premiere Monday, November 2 on NBC and streaming the next day on Peacock.
Co-created by Eric Ledgin and Justin Spitzer (Superstore), the ensemble cast features Wendi McLendon-Covey (The Goldbergs), Allison Tolman (Why Women Kill), Josh Lawson (House of Lies), David Alan Grier (Joe Pickett), Kahyun Kim (Cocaine Bear), Mekki Leeper (Jury Duty), and Kaliko Kauahi (Superstore).

The series is “about an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital where the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity. In season three, romantic entanglements and personal struggles complicate relationships in the Emergency Department, pushing some St. Denis employees to the brink.”
NBC previously announced two guest stars set to appear in the new season: “Damon Wayans, David Alan Grier’s castmate in the landmark 1990s sketch comedy show In Living Color, will appear in the season premiere as Dr. Highland, a charismatic yet egotistical doctor who’s filling in for Ron (Grier) as he recovers from heart surgery. And in an August 19 post referencing her iconic Love Island USA entrances, NBC revealed Ariana Madix‘s return as heart surgeon Dr. Brooke Emerson.”

The Season 2 finale set the stage for plenty of unresolved storylines heading into the next season at St. Denis. Joyce (McLendon-Covey), Alex (Tolman), Val (Kauahi), and their fellow hospital staff all have major developments waiting for them.
Among the biggest questions is what comes next for Matt (Leeper) and Serena (Kim). After sharing a kiss in the penultimate episode, the two decided to take their relationship to the next level and officially start dating. Ron’s storyline took an unexpected turn in the finale episode. After waking up from heart surgery, he immediately asked, “where’s my Joyce?”
