Happy Spooky Season, to those who celebrate! It’s finally that time of year when lovers of Horror can get all the spooky content their hearts can handle. The roll out for Spooky Season 2023 is major as it seems studios are really starting to realize the allure of Horror and how much audiences are excited to be scared.

The only thing better than watching a scary movie in a dark theater is getting to enjoy one in the comfort of your home. While there are a few great films coming to theaters this month, streaming services have a plethora of films, TV series, and documentaries you can stream throughout October. Here is your Spooky Season 2023 watch list of films and TV shows you can watch without leaving the house.

Appendage (Hulu) – October 2

Who’s in it: Emily Hampshire, Hadley Robinson, Deborah Rennard, Brandon Mychal Smith, Desmin Borges, Kausar Mohammed, Annie Pisapia

Synopsis: “A young fashion designer’s life spirals as her darkest inner thoughts manifest into something gruesome- that won’t stop growing.”

Pet Sematary: Bloodlines (Paramount+) – October 6

The Conference (Netflix) – October 13

Five Nights at Freddy’s (Peacock) – October 27

Sister Death (Netflix) – October 27

Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor (Shudder on AMC+) – October 30

Synopsis: “A group of cold case investigators stay at the Carmichael Manor, site of the grisly and unsolved murders of the Carmichael family back in the eighties. After four nights, the group was never heard from again. What is discovered on their footage is even more disturbing than anything found on the Hell House tapes.”
