Heartstopper fans, the time is almost here. Season 2 of the beloved Netflix series will debut on August 3 with all 8 epiodes. The first season premiered on April 22, 2022 and became an instant global hit, securing a season 2 and 3 renewal.

The series is an adaption of the bestselling LGBTQ+ graphic novel by Alice Oseman and follows Charlie (Joe Locke) and Nick (Kit Connor) who meet at secondary school and quickly discover that their unlikely friendship is blossoming into an unexpected romance. The ensemble cast also includes William Gao as Tao Xu, Yasmin Finney as Elle Argent, Sebastian Croft as Ben Hope, Jenny Walser as Tori Spring, Rhea Norwood as Imogen Heany, Cormac Hyde-Corrin as Harry Greene, Kizzy Edgell as Darcy Olsson, Tobie Donovan as Isaac Henderson, Corinna Brown as Tara Jones, and Olivia Colman as Sarah Nelson.

The Heartstopper 2 synopsis reads: “Nick and Charlie navigate their new relationship; Tara and Darcy face unforeseen challenges and Tao and Elle work out if they can ever be more than just friends. With exams on the horizon, a school trip to Paris and a prom to plan, the gang has a lot to juggle as they journey through the next stages of life, love and friendship.”
