Hulu today announced that the Spanish series, Fleeting Lies, will debut in the US on October 10.
From producer Pedro Almodóvar (Parallel Mothers, The Skin I Live In), the series stars Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In, Van Helsing), Pilar Castro (Advantages of Travelling by Train, Piggy), Hugo Silva (The Ministry of Time, Los hombres de Paco), Quim Gutiérrez (Burning Body, Jungle Cruise), Susi Sánchez (Lullaby, The Skin I Live In), Jorge Motos (Lucas, Si fueras tú), Estefanía de los Santos (The Coffee Table, 4 estrellas), and María Botto (Hustle, Valley of the Dead).
The synopsis reads, “On the day of her promotion, Lucia is accused of industrial espionage and fired. Instead of telling her family the news, she continues her regular work routine — while secretly starting an illegal cosmetic surgery business, leading to a web of lies and secrets.”
Producers also include Agustín Almodóvar and Esther García (Parallel Mothers, The Skin I Live In.
