After months of speculation, we finally know the official cast of The Beatles biopic. At CinemaCon 2025 yesterday, Sony Pictures announced the cast of a multi-film biopic, The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinematic Event, directed by Sam Mendes (1917, Skyfall, American Beauty) scheduled for theatrical release in April 2028.

Harris Dickinson (Babygirl, The Iron Claw, Triangle of Sadness) will play John Lennon
Barry Keoghan (Saltburn, The Banshees of Inisherin, The Killing of a Sacred Deer) will play Ringo Starr
Paul Mescal (Gladiator II, Aftersun, All of Us Strangers) will play Paul McCartney
Joseph Quinn (Warfare, A Quiet Place: Day One, Stranger Things) will play George Harrison

Each member will get their own film, as the logline reads, “each man has his own story, but together they are legendary.” It’s still not clear if all 4 films will be released at once or if they will be spread out.
