We were joined on the Popernative show by Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus) and Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon) who star as sisters in Netflix’s new limited series, Sirens. The 5-episode dark comedy drama premiered on the streaming platform on May 22.
The series also stars Julianne Moore (May December), Kevin Bacon (The Bondsman), Glenn Howerton (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Bill Camp (The Queen’s Gambit), Felix Solis (Ozark), Josh Segarra (Scream VI), Trevor Salter (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law), Britne Oldford (Dead Ringers), Lauren Weedman (Hacks), and Jenn Lyon (Claws).
Devon, played by Meghann Fahy, thinks her sister Simone (Milly Alcock) has a creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell (Julianne Moore). Simone has been completely ignoring Devon’s calls, especially after learning that their father (played by Bill Camp) has been diagnosed with onset dementia.

Devon decides to travel to Michaela’s estate to try and get her sister back but soon realizes that Simone is completely infatuated with her new life and has put on a whole new persona. Told over the course of one explosive weekend at The Kells’ lavish beach estate, Sirens is an darkly funny exploration of women, power, class, and the complex relationships with family.
“Simone was such a joy to play. I think that she’s lost emotionally and in identifying who she is, but sometimes I think she might feel like she is the smartest person in the room because she knows how to get what she wants. But internally, she is incredibly lost as a person,” Milly says.
