As most of the cast from season 1 is expected to return in season 2 of Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why, there will also be many new characters. Ross Butler, who plays Zach Dempsey, announced he has left Riverdale in order to continue with the 2nd season of 13 Reasons Why.
Actress Kelli O’Hara of Masters of Sex will be joining season 2 as the character Jackie, an advocate for victims of bullying according to TVLine. There will also be 6 other characters; Anne Winters, Bryce Cass, Chelsea Alden and Samantha Logan will play other students. Allison Miller will play a litigator and Ben Lawson will play the head baseball coach at Liberty High School.
There is no release date yet for season 2, but it is expected to be launched something in early 2018.
