
Robert De Niro will star in his first TV series in the upcoming limited Netflix series Zero Day, premiering February 20, 2025. It is written and executive produced by Eric Newman (Children of Men, Griselda) and Noah Oppenheim (Jackie, The Maze Runner).
The conspiracy thriller also stars Angela Bassett (9-1-1, Black Panther), Jesse Plemons (Kinds of Kindness, Love & Death), Lizzy Caplan (Fatal Attraction, Masters of Sex), Joan Allen (Room, Lisey’s Story), Connie Britton (The White Lotus, Friday Night Lights), Matthew Modine (Stranger Things, Full Metal Jacket), with guest stars Bill Camp (Presumed Innocent, Salem’s Lot), Dan Stevens (Cuckoo, Abigail), Gaby Hoffmann (Eric, Transparent), Clark Gregg (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Thelma), and McKinley Belcher III (One Piece, Ozark).

Synopsis: Zero Day is a limited series starring Robert De Niro as respected former U.S. President George Mullen, who, as head of the Zero Day Commission, is charged with finding the perpetrators of a devastating cyber attack that has caused chaos around the country and thousands of fatalities. As disinformation runs rampant and the personal ambition of power brokers in technology, Wall Street, and government collide, Mullen’s unwavering search for the truth forces him to confront his own dark secrets while risking all he holds dear.
