Often time in Hollywood when a concept is so good studios take it upon themselves to try to recreate the magic with remakes or reboots. Beloved fans of the films sometimes welcome a new adaptation if they are done in a way that honors the original and many are simply happy rewatching the version they already know.

Some remade projects are done for shot replications of the original, while others take the material and reimagine the concept all together. Characters’ names can change, locations where the story is set are adjusted, or the dynamics of the structure can flip from a film to a television format. But viewers are still able to identify the elements in the projects that they can compare the original material with the reworked counterpart.
