In case you wanted more of those delightfully devilish courses from Prime Video, then Charlie Morningstar and her friends have that just for you! Recently, at New York Comic Con, Prime Video brought Vivienne Medrano’s iconic animated series, Hazbin Hotel to the East Coast to share some exciting insight and updates about this raunchy, yet sweet, show.
Taking NYCC 2025’s Main Stage on Friday, October 10, Vivienne Medrano was joined by the series’ main cast, including Kimiko Glenn, Blake Roman, Amir Talai, Alex Brightman, Christian Borle, Jeremy Jordan, Jessica Vosk, Joel Perez, Lilli Cooper, and Krystina Alabado. During the panel, the creators and cast unveiled some interesting details about what Hazbin Hotel Season 2 holds.
Specifically, the cast spoke in great detail into how Charlie and her friends are holding up after Sir Pentious’s “death” in Season 1 and heavenly revival going into Season 2. Though specific details were kept secret, it’s certain that each character will react to the circumstances of Pentious’s death in very different ways.
Additionally, Vox’s plans for hellish domination were also teased as Borle, Cooper, and Perez also teased how the Vees were becoming much more despicable. It’s expected that their actions, towards Charlie Morningstar, her hotel, and each other, will shift Hell’s power dynamic in insane ways.
To showcase what’s to come in the next war between Heaven and Hell, Prime Video also dropped a new clip, highlighting Vox explaining his plan to the Vees to take down Charlie Morningstar. Check it out below!
A new song was also featured at the NYCC panel: “Gravity”, which is sung by Lute (Jessica Vosk) and her mental image of Adam (Brightman). Watch the full music video down below as well!
Furthermore, it was announced that a special New York event will be held to commemorate Season 2’s release. Hazbin Hotel: Live on Broadway, the first ever concert event celebrating the hit adult animated musical series, will take place on October 20 at the Majestic Theater. It will be recorded live and will also be released on Prime Video at a later time.
The event will include iconic songs from Hazbin Hotel Season 1 in addition to songs from Season 2 not yet released! However, for those wanting to get their hands on Season 2’s soundtrack, Atlantic Records has officially released its pre-order, which can be found HERE.
There will be new original songs sung by the main and recurring casts, which were composed by The Living Tombstone’s Sam Haft and Andrew Underberg. Fans can also hear the first of these songs, “Hazbin Guarantee (Trust Us)”, available now to stream on all digital platforms.
Ahead of this event fans can request tickets at 1iota HERE for a chance to attend. Cosplay is strongly encouraged!
Hazbin Hotel Season 2 begins streaming on Wednesday, October 29, on Prime Video.
