Paramount+ today announced that the acclaimed drama series Mayor of Kingstown will return for a fourth season. They also announced that while in-season, the series has reached 8.8M global households, ranking as the #1 series on the platform during its season 3 run.
Starring Jeremy Renner (Wind River), Mayor of Kingstown is co-created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Lioness) and Hugh Dillon (Yellowstone, Flashpoint) and is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions exclusively for Paramount+.
The ensemble cast also includes Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley (Griselda), Emma Laird (A Haunting in Venice), Tobi Bamtefa (Tin Star), Derek Webster (CSI: Vegas), Nishi Munshi (The Originals), Hamish Allan-Headley (Thinly Veiled), and Michael Beach (Tulsa King).
In season 3, a series of explosions rocked Kingstown and its citizens, as a new face of the Russian mob set up shop in the city, and a drug war raged inside and outside prison walls. The pressure was on Mike McLusky (Renner) to end the war but things got complicated when a familiar face from his incarcerated past threatened to undermine the Mayor’s attempts to keep the peace among all factions.
Seasons 1 through 3 are available to binge exclusively on Paramount+.
