Paramount+ has officially renewed Landman for a second season. Created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown), Landman premiered on November 17, 2024 and ranked as a Top 10 SVOD Original Series across all SVODs for Q4 alongside Paramount+ originals Tulsa King and Lioness.
Starring Billy Bob Thornton (Goliath, The Gray Man) and Demi Moore (The Substance, Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans), Landman is set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas and is a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs. Based on the notable 11-part podcast Boomtown from Imperative Entertainment and Texas Monthly, the series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.
Landman also stars Andy Garcia (Expendables franchise), Ali Larter (The Last Victim, Legends), Jacob Lofland (The Son, Justified), Michelle Randolph (1923), Paulina Chávez (Fate: The Winx Saga), Kayla Wallace (When Calls the Heart), Mark Collie (Nashville), James Jordan (Lioness), and Colm Feore (House of Cards).
