Netflix today dropped the official trailer (below) for the upcoming limited series Florida Man starring Edgar Ramírez (Jungle Cruise, The Undoing). The 7-episode series will premiere globally on April 13, 2023 and is created by Donald Todd (This Is Us) who also serves as showrunner and executive producer. Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan also executive produce for Aggregate under their Netflix first look deal.
Florida Man Logline
When a struggling ex-cop (Edgar Ramírez) is forced to return to his home state of Florida to find a Philly mobster’s runaway girlfriend, what should be a quick gig becomes a wildly spiraling journey into buried family secrets, and an increasingly futile attempt to do the right thing in a place where so much is wrong. Florida Man, from creator Donald Todd, is a wild odyssey into a sunny place for shady people.

The cast also includes Anthony LaPaglia (Annabelle: Creation, Without A Trace), Abbey Lee (Lovecraft Country, Old), Otmara Marrero (Connecting…, StartUp), Lex Scott Davis (Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart, The First Purge), Emory Cohen (The OA, Brooklyn), Clark Gregg (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The New Adventures of Old Christine), Isaiah Johnson (David Makes Man, Home Girls), Paul Schneider (A House on the Bayou, Lars and the Real Girl), and Lauren Buglioli (A Jazzman’s Blues, The White Elephant).

All 7 episode of Florida Man will drop on Netflix on April 13, 2023.
