Contrary to the title of it, Ocean’s 8 is actually a sequel to the George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon Ocean’s movies, but with a female cast. Matt Damon will only be reprising his role in a cameo, and in the trailer we get a small clue that Clooney’s character, Danny Ocean, is dead. No word yet on if Brad Pitt will make an appearance.
Ocean’s 8 stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, Sarah Paulson, and Helena Bonham Carter.
The film will hit theaters on June 8th, 2018.
