Showtime today announced that Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine (The Lincoln Lawyer, The Chi), Kadia Saraf (Law & Order: SVU, The Better Sister), Dominic Fumusa (Godfather of Harlem, Nurse Jackie) and Emilia Suárez (Up Here) have joined the cast as series regulars of Dexter: Resurrection starring SAG and Golden Globe winner Michael C. Hall in the titular role of Dexter Morgan.

Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine will play the role of “Blessing Kamara,” a rideshare driver who radiates unwavering optimism and a man devoted to his family and community. Kadia Saraf will play Detective “Claudette Wallace,” a razor-sharp investigator known for her methodical precision and unrelenting focus. Dominic Fumusa will play Detective “Melvin Oliva,” Claudette Wallace’s partner at NYPD who is the only one that understands his quirky partner. Emilia Suárez will play “Elsa Rivera,” Harrison Morgan’s vibrant and determined friend and co-worker at the Empire Hotel.

Production for Dexter: Resurrection kicked off earlier this month in New York and the series is set to launch in summer of 2025 on Paramount+ with Showtime.

Previously announced cast include Uma Thurman, Peter Dinklage, David Zayas, James Remar, and Jack Alcott. Thurman will play the head of security for Leon Prater, Zayas will reprise his role as Angel Batista, Remar as Harry Morgan, Dexter’s father, and Alcott as Dexter’s son, Harrison Morgan.

The new series is executive produced by Emmy-nominee Clyde Phillips (Dexter, Nurse Jackie), who also returns to serve as showrunner, and produced by SHOWTIME Studios and Counterpart Studios. Michael C. Hall also serves as executive producer along with Scott Reynolds (Dexter, Jessica Jones), Tony Hernandez (Broad City, Emily in Paris) and Lilly Burns (Search Party, Russian Doll), with Marcos Siega (Bad Monkey, Dexter: New Blood) serving as producing director.

Most recently, Dexter: Original Sin, a prequel series that follows Dexter (played by Patrick Gibson) as he transitions from student to serial killer, debuted in December of last year and delivered the most- streamed Showtime premiere in history with more than 2.1M global cross-platform viewers. The series is now streaming on Paramount+ with Showtime.
