Lionsgate today dropped a new trailer for the upcoming comedy Joy Ride coming to theaters on July 7. Directed by Adele Lim (Crazy Rich Asians, Raya and the Last Dragon), the film stars Ashley Park (Emily in Paris, Beef), Stephanie Hsu (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Everything Everywhere All at Once), Sherry Cola (Good Trouble, Claws), Sabrina Wu (Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.), Ronny Chieng (M3GAN, Crazy Rich Asians), Desmond Chiam (With Love, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Alexander Hodge (Wellmania, Insecure), and Chris Pang (Palm Springs, As We See It).
Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Josh Fagen, Cherry Chevapravatdumrong, Teresa Hsiao, and Adele Lim serve as producers.
Joy Ride Synopsis

The hilarious and unapologetically explicit story of identity and self-discovery centers on four unlikely friends who embark on a once-in-a-lifetime international adventure. When Audrey’s (Ashley Park) business trip to Asia goes sideways, she enlists the aid of Lolo (Sherry Cola), her irreverent, childhood best friend who also happens to be a hot mess; Kat (Stephanie Hsu), her college friend turned Chinese soap star; and Deadeye (Sabrina Wu), Lolo’s eccentric cousin.
