Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group today dropped a new teaser spot for the upcoming seventh Scream film, Scream 7, where Neve Campbell will reprise her role as Sidney Prescott. Also returning from the Scream universe are Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, and Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding from Scream and Scream VI, premiering in theaters on February 27, 2026.
The latest teaser video titled “Legacy,” shows a montage from the previous films of characters answering the dreaded phone calls, with the words across the screen reading, “Every Phone Call, Every Killer, Has Led to This“. We then see Ghostface calling Sidney in the present day saying, “I’ve been planning this for a long time. Your daughter was the same age you were when this all started,” referring to the very first Scream film which debuted in 1996.
New cast members for Scream 7 are Anna Camp (You, Pitch Perfect), Joel McHale (Animal Control, Community), Mckenna Grace (Regretting You, Ghostbusters: Afterlife), Michelle Randolph (1923, Landman), Jimmy Tatro (The Real Bros of Simi Valley, Home Economics), Asa Germann (Gen V, The Boys), Celeste O’Connor (A Good Person, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire), Sam Rechner (Heartbreak High, The Fabelmans), Ethan Embry (Christy, Grace and Frankie), Timothy Simons (Nobody Wants This, Veep), and Mark Consuelos (9-1-1, Riverdale).
The synopsis for Scream 7 reads, “When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.”
