
Netflix today announced the renewal of XO, Kitty, the spinoff series inspired by the popular To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film franchise, for season 2. The series sees Anna Cathcart reprising her role as Kitty Song Covey as she transfers to the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) in Seoul, South Korea for her junior year of high school, which is the same age her late mother also attended that very same school. The XO, Kitty cast also includes Minyeong Choi as Dae, Gia Kim as Yuri, Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Peter Thurnwald as Alex, with Yunjin Kim as Jina, Sarayu Blue as Trina, John Corbett as Dan Covey, Michael K Lee as Professor Lee, Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison, Regan Aliyah as Juliana, and Théo Augier as Florian.
The cast made an official announcement video for social media. XO, Kitty premiered on May 18, 2023 and debuted at #2 on the English TV List with 72.1M hours viewed. Netflix also says that the series appeared in the Top 10 section in 90 countries in its first week.
