Netflix today announced that they have renewed the live-action series Avatar: The Last Airbender for seasons 2 AND 3. “Since the show’s Netflix debut on February 22, Avatar: The Last Airbender has reigned as the #1 English TV show with 41.1M views in just the first 11 days,” the streaming platform says.
After debuting on February 22nd, 2024, the series was #1 in 76 countries and in the top 10 in 92. Netflix also states, “overall, Avatar: The Last Airbender has amassed 2.2B global campaign views on Netflix platforms to date.”
On TikTok, the #AvatarTheLastAirbender hashtag generated 1 billion global views in the series’ first seven days of release. Episode counts and details for seasons 2 and 3 will be shared at a later date.
