Netflix today revealed the official trailer (see below) and new photos for the upcoming third season of the drama series, Ginny & Georgia, set to debut on June 5. Season 3 picks up where Season 2 ended; Georgia being arrested at her own wedding. Season 3 will consist of 10 episodes.
The synopsis for Season 3 reads, “Georgia has just been arrested for murder during her wedding – ruining her fairy tale ending and putting the spotlight on the Millers like never before. It’s always been Ginny and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite like this. Now, Ginny needs to see where she stands when push comes to shove – Is the two of them against the world something Ginny really wants to sign up for?”
Returning cast include Brianne Howey, Antonia Gentry, Diesel La Torraca, Jennifer Robertson, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Nikki Roumel, Katie Douglas, Chelsea Clark, Sabrina Grdevich, Nikki Roumel, Nathan Mitchell, Aaron Ashmore, and Ben Steele Caldwell. Joining Season 3 are Ty Doran (Manifest) and Noah Lamanna (Beacon 23) in recurring roles.
“We ended Season 2 with Georgia arrested for murder — ruining her fairy-tale wedding and leaving the fate of the Miller family hanging in the balance. It’s always been Ginny and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite as hard as it will in Season 3,” creator and executive producer Sarah Lampert tells Tudum.
“This season we blew up our world. That’s the best way to describe it. The characters were pushed to new places, and the actors delivered performances that shook me to my core. The fans have been so patient, I cannot wait for them to see Season 3,” Lampert adds.
