Netflix today revealed their schedule for this year’s Spooky Season, dubbed as “Netflix & Chills,” offering thriller, true crime, and horror content, as well as family-friendly Halloween entertainment beginning September 13th.

In celebration of Netflix & Chills, a new trailer for the highly anticipated fifth season of Unsolved Mysteries was released today as well.

September

Sector 36 – September 13

Cast: Vikrant Massey, Deepak Dobriyal, Akash Khurana

Synopsis: “Inspired by true events, several children go missing from a basti (slum) in Sector 36. A determined police officer must now face off with a cunning serial killer as a chilling investigation and dark secrets unfold.”

Gyeongseong Creature (Season 2) – September 27

Cast: Park Seo-jun, Han So-hee, Claudia Kim, Kim Hae-sook, Wi Ha-jun, Cho Han-cheul

Synopsis: “Set in 2024 Seoul, Season 2 uncovers the never-ending ties — the good and the bad — that fate weaves in Gyeongseong via Ho-jae, a man deceptively similar in looks and demeanor to Tae-sang, and Chae-ok, a survivor of the Gyeongseong spring.”

Unsolved Mysteries, Vol 5 – October 2

Unsolved Mysteries is back with an additional four episodes featuring perplexing cold cases and supernatural events that’ll keep you guessing. Can you solve a mystery? This volume features everything from unresolved murders to alien encounters. Unsolved Mysteries is from the creators of the original docuseries, Cosgrove/Meurer Productions, and 21 Laps Entertainment, the producers of Stranger Things.

The Bad Guys: Haunted Heist (TV Special) – October 3

Synopsis: “The Bad Guys set off on the ultimate Halloween heist, absconding with legendary deceased crook Reginald E. Scary’s prized stolen amulet. While on their mission in Scary’s haunted mansion, Wolf has a few tricks up his sleeve to spook his crew. But when Wolf ends up being haunted, the Bad Guys must revisit the mansion to return the cursed loot.”

It’s What’s Inside – October 4

Cast: Brittany O’Grady, James Morosini, Gavin Leatherwood, Nina Bloomgarden, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Reina Hardesty, Devon Terrell, David Thompson

The Platform 2 – October 4

Synopsis: “As a mysterious leader imposes their rule in the Platform, a new resident becomes embroiled in the battle against this controversial method to fight the brutal feeding system. Mighty Monsterwheelies (Season 1) – October 14

Synopsis: “Tapping into the Universal Monsters vault, Mighty MonsterWheelies is an action-packed adventure-comedy series which reimagines classic characters as half-monster, half-truck vehicle heroes who team up to use their special powers to serve and protect the all-vehicle city of Motorvania from troublemakers like Phantom Freeze and Invisible Van.”

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory (Season 2) – October 17

Woman of the Hour – October 18

Cast: Anna Kendrick, Daniel Zovatto, Tony Hale, Nicolette Robinson, Pete Holmes, Autumn Best, Kathryn Gallagher, Kelley Jakle

Synopsis: “The stranger-than-fiction story of an aspiring actor in 1970s Los Angeles and a serial killer in the midst of a yearslong murder spree, whose lives intersect when they’re cast on an episode of The Dating Game.”

Family Pack – October 23

Cast: Franck Dubosc, Suzanne Clément, Jean Reno

Synopsis: “A modern, blended family gets sucked into a game of Werewolves, time-traveling back to the Middle Ages. In order to survive and return to the 21st century, they must figure out the rules and work together to eliminate their foes. Don’t Move – October 25

Synopsis: “A grieving woman hoping to find solace deep in an isolated forest encounters a stranger who injects her with a paralytic agent. As the agent gradually takes over her body, she must run, hide, and fight for her life before her entire nervous system shuts down.”

The Last Night at Tremore Beach (Season 1) – October 25

Cast: Javier Rey, Ana Polvorosa

Synopsis: “A musician and composer in crisis retreats to a coastal village in the north to finish his latest work. His only neighbors for miles around are a married couple living in the next house. After a serious accident during a storm, the musician begins to experience some terrifying visions about his neighbors.”

Time Cut – October 30

Cast: Madison Bailey, Antonia Gentry, Michael Shanks, Griffin Gluck

Synopsis: “A teenage girl travels back to the early 2000s to stop a vicious killer from murdering her sister.”

Murder Mindfully (Season 1) – October 31

Cast: Tom Schilling, Emily Cox, Britta Hammelstein, Murathan Muslu, Peter Jordan, Pamuk Pilavci, Johannes Allmayer, Sascha Geršak, Marc Hosemann, Luca Maric

Synopsis: “Top-flight lawyer Björn Diemel unexpectedly becomes a murderer when he takes a mindfulness seminar to create a better work-life balance, spend more quality time with his daughter, and — hopefully — save his marriage. The seminar does what it promised — although not in the way he imagined. In the wake of his newly learned mindfulness techniques, his brutal and careless mafia boss client Dragan Sergowicz bites the dust. Although he now has the police and the entire mafia clan snapping at his heels, Björn finds himself able to keep his cool and keep his life in order too. If more murders are what it takes now to solve his problems, it’s just a natural consequence of his new, mindful outlook.”
