Netflix today dropped first look photos from My Life With the Walter Boys Season 3 and announced that it will debut on August 6. Season 3 will continue the story right where Season 2 left off, following its cliffhanger finale. The series has already been renewed for a fourth season which is currently in production.
Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde, Ashby Gentry, Sarah Rafferty, Marc Blucas, Connor Stanhope, and Jaylan Evans will return as series regulars. Recurring cast include Corey Fogelmanis, Johnny Link, Isaac Arellanes, Myles Perez, Alisha Newton, Mya Lowe, Ellie O’Brien, Kolton Stewart, Natalie Sharp, Alex Quijano, Ashley Tavares, Dean Petriw, Alix West Lefler, Lennix James, and Gabrielle Jacinto.
“Everyone’s reality has shattered a little bit, and they’re picking up the pieces of that and trying to put it back together again,” Gentry tells Tudum.
“A lot of this season, more than other seasons, is about growing up, maturing, and stepping up,” adds Showrunner, creator, and executive producer Melanie Halsall.
The official synopsis for My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3 reads, “The path of true love never runs smooth, especially in Silver Falls. The last time we saw the Walters, Jackie and Cole finally confessed their love for each other, only for Jackie’s boyfriend — and Cole’s brother — Alex to overhear. But their conversation was interrupted when Walter patriarch George was rushed to the hospital. Season 3 sees the Walters realize what’s important in the fallout from this – and discover that it’s okay to go after what you want. With their love lives still hanging in the balance, Alex turns to his new rodeo riding team, and Cole gets back in the driver’s seat of his life, literally, when a race car driver sees potential in him. Meanwhile, Jackie pours her heart into developing the town’s community space. But when a childhood friend arrives from New York, the life she left behind proves harder to forget than she expected.”
“It was a pretty big revelation at the end of Season 2, and we can’t just ignore that. She also can’t keep bouncing between two boys. How we tackle that will be a really interesting challenge, and I’m looking forward to that,” Halsall also tells Tudum.
There are also three new characters joining My Life With the Walter Boys Season 3.
Chad Rook (IT: Welcome To Derry, Joe Pickett) will play Mac: “A cool drag racer who hires Cole to revamp the engine of one of his racing cars, Mac is impressed by Cole’s natural skills behind the wheel after seeing him take a spin on the track.”
Naveen Paddock (Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, Anything’s Possible) will play Eliot: “Handsome and charming with an air of New York sophistication, Eliot is Uncle Richard’s new intern. His arrival in Silver Falls puts Jackie in a tug-of-war between her old life and her new one.”
Erin Karpluk (Being Erica, Smoke) will play Hannah: “George’s nomadic sister and mother of Isaac and Lee, Hannah is free-spirited or irresponsible as hell (take your pick). She left her sons to live with the Walters and then split for reasons unknown; when she shows up at the front door a thousand days later, she has a lot of bridges to rebuild.”
