
We were joined on the Popternative show by Isaac Arellanes and Myles Perez who play Isaac and Lee Garcia in the the new Netflix coming-of-age drama series, My Life with the Walter Boys. The series premiered December 7th and has already been renewed for season 2, which is currently #1 on the Global English Top 10 TV List and has amassed 20.3 Million views since its debut.
Based on the popular 2014 Wattpad novel of the same name by by Ali Novak, the series follows Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez) who loses her entire family in a tragic accident and is sent to a small rural town in Colorado with her new guardian – her mother’s best friend, Katherine (Sarah Rafferty), who is raising ten kids with her husband, George (Marc Blucas). Jackie is determined to stay focused on getting into Princeton while getting used to her new life, all while wrapping her head around her feelings for two very different Walter brothers: the reliable and bookish Alex (Ashby Gentry), and the mysterious and troubled Cole (Noah LaLonde).

In our interviews, Isaac discusses how he prepared to play Isaac, his auditioning process, what he hopes season 2 has in store for his character, and reveals if he’s Team Alex or Team Cole. Myles talks about the global reception of the series, filming many scenes that involved meals with the Walter family, as well as his auditioning process.
