We were joined on the Popternative show by Joanne Froggatt (North Shore, Downton Abbey), Lara Pulver (Blood of Zeus, Da Vinci’s Demons), Mandeep Dhillon (CSI: Vegas, After Life) who star in the new Guy Ritchie crime series, MobLand.
The series premiered on Paramount+ on March 30 and also stars Pierce Brosnan (Mamma Mia!, Tomorrow Never Dies) as the head of an organized crime family, fighting for power within a global crime syndicate, with Tom Hardy (Peaky Blinders, Venom) playing his fixer, and Helen Mirren (1923, The Queen) as his wife.

MobLand follows two warring London crime families who clash in a battle that threatens to topple empires and ruin lives. Caught in the crossfire is Harry Da Souza (Hardy), the street-smart ‘fixer’ who knows too well where loyalties lie when opposing forces collide.
The ensemble cast also includes Paddy Considine (House Of The Dragon, The Outsider), Anson Boon (Pistol, The Winter Lake), Jasmine Jobson (Bird, Top Boy), Geoff Bell (The Curse, RocknRolla), Daniel Betts (After The Flood, Fate: The Winx Saga), Lisa Dwan (Blackshore, Top Boy), and Emily Barber (Industry, The Alienist).

Froggatt plays Jan Da Souza, the wife of Harry who is trying to convince him to go to couples therapy while Pulver plays Bella Harrigan, the wife of Kevin (Considine) who also comes from a very connected and powerful family. Dhillon plays Seraphina Harrigan, Conrad’s (Brosnan) daughter who he had with another woman in an affair. Conrad’s wife, Maeve (Mirren), doesn’t hide the fact that she is not fond of Seraphina nor sees her as part of the family.
