Netflix has announced that its upcoming limited series, The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey, will premiere on the streamer this winter. The true crime drama stars Melissa McCarthy (Can You Ever Forgive Me?, Bridesmaids) and Clive Owen (American Crime Story, Children of Men) as Patsy and John Ramsey, the parents of six-year-old JonBenét Ramsey, whose 1996 murder remains one of the most infamous unsolved cases in American history.
Synopsis: “The series centers on one of the most infamous unsolved murder cases in American history, and the devastating personal and public reckoning that followed the death of JonBenet Ramsey on Christmas night in 1996.”
The series comes from Showrunner/Writer/Executive Producer Richard LaGravenese (Behind the Candelabra, Freedom Writers).
