While the adult animated series Big Mouth came to an end in May 2025, the creators weren’t done with content. Mark Levin, Jennifer Flackett, Andrew Goldberg, and Nick Kroll are back with a brand-new animated series–Mating Season–this time revolving around animals.
Described as “an adult animated romantic comedy,” Mating Season is “set in the animal world – about love, sex, relationships, and the universal need to find a partner and perpetuate the species–starring bears, raccoons, deer, foxes and a host of other horny, lovable forest critters.”
Premiering on May 22 on Netflix, the series stars Nick Kroll, Zach Woods (Silicon Valley, The Afterparty), June Diane Raphael (The Morning Show, Big Mouth), and Sabrina Jalees (Mile End Kicks, Black Mirror). Netflix today revealed that the 10-episode first season will feature a packed lineup of guest stars.
