HBO Max today revealed a brand new teaser for the upcoming prequel series, IT: Welcome to Derry, set in the world of Stephen King’s IT universe. Based on King’s IT novel, the series expands the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the feature films IT and IT Chapter Two.
IT: Welcome to Derry will premiere in October, just in time for spooky season.
Bill Skarsgård reprises his role as the terrifying clown, Pennywise from IT and IT Chapter Two, and the series also stars Taylour Paige (Zola), Jovan Adepo (Fences), Chris Chalk (Perry Mason), James Remar (Dexter), Stephen Rider (Daredevil), Madeleine Stow (Revenge), Rudy Mancuso (Música), Miles Ekhardt (Turtles All the Way Down), Mikkal Karim-Fidler (Boy in the Walls), Kimberly Guerrero (Reservation Dogs), Clara Stack (The Naughty Nine), Jack Molloy Legault (Interstellar Ella), Luke Beattie, Redden Callaghan, and Tom Hulshof.
