We were joined on the Popternative show by Virginia Gardner (Fall, Beautiful Disaster) and Alex Aiono (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, Finding ‘Ohana) who star in the new the film, See You on Venus, which had its theatrical release on July 21st, and was released on VOD/Digital July 25th.

Directed by Joaquín Llamas (Caronte, Sequía), the film follows Mia (Virginia Gardner) and Kyle (Alex Aiono), two misfit American teens who travel to Spain in search of Mia’s birth mother. As the pair road tripthrough the picturesque cities of Andalusia and fall in love, they discover that the most important question isn’t who gave you life but what you decide to do with it. It also stars Rob Estes (After We Collided, Melrose Place), Isabel Serrano (Acusados, Amar en tiempos revueltos), and Bernard Bullen (The Mandalorian, Betty en NY).

In our interview, Virginia and Alex talk about the self reflection component of See You on Venus, some learning experiences on set, reading the scripts for the first time, and more.
