We chatted with director Sophie Hyde about her film Good Luck to You, Leo Grande which is streaming now exclusively on Hulu.

The sex-comedy drama is written by Katy Brand and stars Emma Thompson and Daryl McCormack.

Official Synopsis

Nancy Stokes (Emma Thompson), a retired school teacher, is yearning for some adventure, and some sex. Good sex. And she has a plan, which involves hiring a young sex worker named Leo Grande (Daryl McCormack).

In our interview, Sophie Hyde, also known for her 2019 film Animals, talks about the serious undertones in comedy content, genre bending and much more. She also talks about working on this film which is very conversation based.
