We were joined on the Popternative show by Shelley Hennig who stars in the new Netflix action-comedy series, Obliterated, which premiered November 30th. Created by Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald (Cobra Kai), Netflix describes the series as “if 24 and The Hangover hooked up and had a baby.”
It follows athw special forces team who stop a deadly threat to Las Vegas. After their big celebratory party, filled with booze, drugs and sex, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a fake. The now intoxicated team must fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb, and save the world.
Obliterated‘s cast also includes Nick Zano (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), C. Thomas Howell (SEAL Team), Kimi Rutledge (Half Sisters), Paola Lázaro (The Walking Dead), Terrence Terrell (B Positive), Alyson Gorske (Amy’s F**k It List), Eugene Kim (Donny’s Bar Mitzvah), Carl Lumbly (Alias), David Costabile (Billions), Lindsey Kraft (Grace and Frankie), Costa Ronin (The Americans), Tobias Jelinek (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and Minnie Mills (The Summer I Turned Pretty). Guest stars will include Lori Petty (A League of Their Own), Virginia Madsen (Designated Survivor), Clive Standen (Vikings), Ivan G’vera (Days of Our Lives), and Keston John (In The Dark).
