We were joined on the Popternative show by Samantha Brown who is the newest cast member of the MGM+ horror mystery series, From, which returned for season 3 on September 22.
From, which first premiered in 2022, unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest — including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. After season 2’s cliffhanger, escape becomes a very real possibility for those trapped in the town in season 3.
In episode 3, we are introduced to Samantha’s character, police officer Acosta from Maine who is riding in an ambulance with Tabitha (Catalina Sandino Morena) and Henry (Robert Joy) after the 2 of them got into a car accident. Soon, they come across a fallen tree in the middle of the road – meaning they are about to enter the creepy, mysterious town. Acosta, not believing what Tabitha is warning them of when they enter the town, does not understand what she is walking in to and havoc breaks loose.
