The second season of the teen drama Ginny & Georgia is finally here after first premiering in February 2021, where more than 52 million member households watched the series in its first 28 days. The coming-of-age Netflix series portrays the complex relationship between Ginny, played by Antonia Gentry, and her mother Georgia, played by Brianne Howey. We were joined on the Popternative show by Romi Shraiter who returns to season 2 as Samantha, a classmate of Ginny who is also part of her circle of friends.

Season 2 also stars Diesel La Torraca, Jennifer Robertson, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Chelsea Clark, Katie Douglas, Nathan Mitchell, Sabrina Grdevich, Humberly Gonzalez, Mason Temple, Nikki Roumel, Tameka Griffiths, Rebecca Ablack, Aaron Ashmore, Daniel Beirne, and Alex Mallari Jr.

In our interview, Romi discusses what it was like filming season 2 compared to season 1, and the real life friendships developed on set. She also describes her character Samantha who she describes as someone with “good intentions and very poor executions” who isn’t very nice at times.
