We were joined on the Popternative show by Regan Aliyah who can be seen playing Juliana in the new Netflix series XO, Kitty, which premiered on May 18. The To All the Boys spin-off series sees Anna Cathcart reprising her role as Kitty Song Covey as she transfers to the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) in Seoul, South Korea for her junior year of high school, which is the same age her late mother also attended that very same school.
The XO, Kitty cast also includes Minyeong Choi as Dae, Gia Kim as Yuri, Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Peter Thurnwald as Alex, with Yunjin Kim as Jina, Sarayu Blue as Trina, John Corbett as Dan Covey, Michael K Lee as Professor Lee, Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison, and Théo Augier as Florian.

Regan’s character, Juliana, is a former student at the Korean Independent School of Seoul, and Yuri’s closest friend, who is forced to change schools before the start of the new school year. We soon find out what caused the change (no spoilers here!). In our interview, Regan talks about what her audition process was like for the series, how she was able to connect with the character of Juliana, filming in South Korea, and much more.
