We were joined on the Popternative show by Lenny Rush (Doctor Who, Dodger) and Selin Hizli (Grantchester, Land Girls) to discuss Season 2 of the BAFTA Award-winning comedy series, Am I Being Unreasonable? Created by and starring Daisy May Cooper and Selin, the complete second season premiered on Hulu on March 12.
Lenny Rush, who also returns for Season 2, won a BAFTA for best male comedy performance for his role as Ollie in Season 1 as well as two Royal Television Society Awards. Other stars reprising their roles in the new season include Dustin Demri-Burns (Cardinal Burns, Slow Horses), David Fynn (Daddy Issues, The Pembrokeshire Murders), Juliet Cowan (Brassic, Back to Black), Phil Dunning (Smoggie Queens), Georgie Glenn (Call the Midwife), Beatie Edney (The Coroner, Poldark), Amanda Wilkin (The Split), Helen Ann Bauer (Live at the Apollo), Marek Larwood (We Are Klang) and Karla Crome (Misfits, Under the Dome).

Season 2 begins where there first season left off, “mid panic attack. Has Nic got away with murder? Quite possibly. Has she raised her son Ollie to follow in her murky footsteps? Kicked out of the family home for brotherly love – loving the wrong brother – Nic is reduced to sharing a caravan with not so trustworthy best friend Jen. Husband Dan has taken up roller-blading to channel his mid-life crisis. Shunned at the school gates and cast as the witch at the school re-enactment Nic is experiencing hallucinations. Or is the someone playing tricks on her?”
Watch the full conversation with Lenny and Selin below where they discuss filming Season 2, the improvisation involved in some of the scenes, and more.
Season 2 of Am I Being Unreasonable? is streaming on Hulu.
