We were joined on the Popternative show by Kiana Madeira who’s recent sports-drama-romance film, Perfect Addiction, premiered on Prime Video March 24. Kiana plays mixed martial arts (MMA) trainer Sienna Lane who seeks revenge on her cheating boyfriend Jax, played by Matthew Noszka (Trish & Scott, Star). To make matters even worse, Jax is cheating on Sienna with her very own sister.
Sienna’s revenge consists of training the one man capable of beating Jax in the underground MMA world; his arch-nemesis Kayden, played by Ross Butler (Shazam!, 13 Reasons Why). Directed by Castille Landon (After We Fall, After Ever Happy), the cast also includes Bree Winslow (Stereoscope), Nicholas Duvernay (Bel-Air), Manu Bennett (Arrow), Ryan Bown (Everything I Know About Love), and Poppy Gilbert (Chloe).
In our interview, Kiana talks about how she prepared for Perfect Addiction which indluded many workout sessions, working with Lamar Johnson on the film Brother, and the incredibly popular 2021 Fear Street trilogy on Netflix.
