We were joined on the Popternative show by Josh Lawson who stars as Dr. Bruce in the new mockumentary medical sitcom, St. Denis Medical. From the team behind the workplace comedy Superstore, St. Denis Medical premiered on November 12, and centers on an understaffed Oregon hospital where the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity.

The series is co-created and executive produced by Justin Spitzer and Eric Ledgin, who also serves as showrunner. It also stars Wendi McLendon-Covey (The Goldbergs), David Alan Grier (Joe Pickett), Allison Tolman (Why Women Kill), Kahyun Kim (Cocaine Bear), Mekki Leeper (Jury Duty), and Kaliko Kauahi (Superstore).
