We were joined on the Popternative show by Jenny Walser who plays Tori Spring in Netflix’s hit LGBTQ+ coming-of-age series Heartstopper which premiered on April 22. Jenny’s character quickly became everyone’s favorite big sister as Tori is the older sister to Charlie (played by Joe Locke).

An adaption of the bestselling LGBTQ+ graphic novel by Alice Oseman, Heartstopper follows Charlie (Joe Locke) and Nick (Kit Connor) who meet at secondary school and quickly discover that their unlikely friendship is blossoming into an unexpected romance. Charlie, Nick and their circle of friends must navigate the ever-relatable journey of self discovery and acceptance, supporting each other as they learn to find their most authentic selves.
