We were joined on the Popternative show by Locke & Key star Jackson Robert Scott to discuss the third and final season of the Netflix series which was released on August 10. Known for his role as Georgie in 2017’s It and the sequel It Chapter Two, Jackson plays Bode Locke in Locke & Key which is the series adaptation of the best-selling comic book series by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez.
Season 1 first launched in February 2020 and the series also stars Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Kevin Durand, Sherri Saum, Brendan Hines, Coby Bird, Griffin Gluck, Hallea Jones, Aaron Ashmore, Brendan Hines, Jesse Camacho and Asha Bromfield.
In our interview with Jackson, he discusses filming the final season and the fantasy aspect of Locke & Key: “The cinematography with all the keys and the intricate design of the keys, that was so cool to see […] and I think they really brought that magic to life,” he says. We also go into the time travel aspect of the third season and what his thoughts were on that storyline.
