It was recently announced that there will be a Thanksgiving sequel expected to hit theaters in 2025. When asked about what we can expect from the sequel, Roth says, “It has to be great. We’re working through all the possibilities right now. I play the movie in my head every day until I come to a dead end. And then stop, and back up, and go this way and this way. I want it to be incredible.” He also explains that the digital version includes many deleted scenes, bloopers, and content recorded from the cast themselves on set.
