We were joined on the Popternative show by Isa Briones who stars as Margot Stokes in the new Goosebumps series inspired by R.L. Stine’s worldwide bestselling Scholastic book series. The 10-episode series premiered across both Disney+ and Hulu on October 13th and “follows a group of five high schoolers as they embark on a shadowy and twisted journey to investigate the tragic passing three decades earlier of a teen named Harold Biddle — while also unearthing dark secrets from their parents’ past.”
The cast also includes Justin Long (Barbarian), Zack Morris (EastEnders), Rachael Harris (Lucifer), Miles McKenna (Guilty Party), Ana Yi Puig (Gossip Girl), and Will Price (The Equalizer).
In our interview, Isa tells us about what it was like being part of a popular franchise like Goosebumps, working with the ensemble cast, and all of the fan theories online about the show. She also talks about her experience being on a series like Goosebumps that includes many genres like horror, comedy, and drama.
